Worldatlas Our Earth in records

This extensive universal atlas illustrates the geographical structures of the earth on over 200 map images, both with political and natural overview maps as well as a large number of detailed maps. It also contains a lot of information that is of particular interest to tourists. These are, for example, famous travel routes, outstanding natural landscapes, imposing metropolises, well-known cultural monuments, as well as exciting sports and leisure destinations, which complement the map image in the form of meaningful pictograms. The chapter "The World in Records" is dedicated to a wide variety of superlatives using many pictures and lists as well as informative texts. Here the highest mountains and the most remarkable skyscrapers as well as the most diverse vegetation zones and the most widespread religious communities in the world are presented. The atlas is rounded off by a list of international country names, a country lexicon and a detailed register.
