Vietnam Climbing Revised Edition Feb 2023

This is the revised 2nd edition of Vietnam's comprehensive country-wide climbing guidebook, covering Ha Long Bay, Huu Lung, Quoc Oai near Hanoi, and Mai Chau. The guidebook describes over 500 sport, deep water soloing (DWS), and Trad routes found in Vietnam. There is a great variety of climbing with routes from F4+ to F8b, on excellent limestone rock.

Ha Long Bay is Vietnam's largest climbing area offering World-class sport climbing and deep water soloing (DWS). There are over 350 routes around the Cat Ba Island archipelago with sport climbing at 5 crags on Cat Ba Island,
sport and some Trad climbing at 13 island crags in Ha Long Bay and deep water soloing at 20 island crags in Ha Long Bay. The guidebook also ncludes travel and accommodation information for Cat Ba Island.

The other 3 areas of Huu Lung, Quoc Oai, and Mai Chau are inland, dotted around the capital of Hanoi. Huu Lung is Vietnam?s second largest climbing area with over 120 routes.
