This is a selective guidebook covering 221 long multi-pitch routes in Tuscany between the Apuan Alps and the Argentario. The guidebook covers a wide range of multi-pitch routes from classic routes where there is a mixture of bolts and some trad gear to modern fully bolted routes on great limestone rock.
The guidebook describes a wide range of routes with the majority of them between 100m and 250m long. There are also some longer routes including a classic 1,000m route (24 pitches) on Pizzo d?Uccello?s north face, as well more modern fully bolted multi-pitch routes at Monte Procinto, and the hard over hanging routes on the imposing face of Monte Nona.
All the routes are shown on colour hand drawn topos along with detailed pitch-by-pitch route descriptions, and descent information. For each area there is a good location map, along with clear access information - English text throughout.
