Trondheim, Malvik and Stjordal are surrounded by beautiful outdoor areas for walks in the woods, in the mountains and by the sea all year round. This map shows the many opportunities and the great variety for an outdoor life close to the city. In Bymarka as well as in Mostadmarka, Jonsvannsmarka and in Malvikmarka, there are paths and ski tracks criss-crossed, groomed ski trails in the winter and well-marked hiking routes for the summer. The pilgrim paths come from all directions and point towards Nidaros Cathedral. Well marked on the map are also bathing areas, recreational areas with universal design and popular summit hikes and viewpoints. The map Trondheim and Malvikmarka is published by Calazo forlag, after input from key hiking and outdoor life players in the region. This is part of a modern map series where the terrain information is based on laser scanning from aircraft, which provides great detail with an almost three-dimensional impression.
