Gale Bernhardt is a personal coach and trainer for endurance athletes. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer, and is certified by USA Cycling as an Elite Level Coach. She has been involved with teaching or coaching a variety of sports since 1974. She has been a regular columnist for Triathlete Magazine since 1995, and gives seminars on racing and fitness strategies, and is presently in negotiations with several sports industry giants to provide multisport specific training camps. She has competed in triathlons, duathlons and USCF time trials since 1987, and has twice been on the National Duathlons Team, competing at the World Champion
