Then it's the Cairngorm mountains and glens that have shaped his life. Heading west he celebrates the remote splender around Corrour and Loch Rannoch - wild country as you'll find anywhere.
Making his way south and east he stops at the falls of Bruar, before tramping the magnificent Angus Glens - one of Scotland's best kept secrets.
Finally it's north to Royal Deeside where Cameron takes to the air for a different view of the this landscape, and to complete a wonderful circle, he explores the Cromdale hills.
Along the way, he meets scientists, historians and outdoor enthusiasts and finds the only railway staion in Scotland that hosts regular ceilidhs. He joins a descendant of travlling folk, a collector of songs and has first hand experience of how illicit whisky stills once worked. And during an epic journey , cameron talsk to people who's lives have been changed by the outdoorsl.
