This area lacks marked trails, but the center of Savukoski is excellent for hunting, fishing, and berry picking. The area includes Vintilankaira, Kairijoki, Kemijoki and Varriojoki with their tributaries. The map was published by Karttakeskus and last updated in 2022. When Karttakeskus stopped publishing printed maps in the autumn of 2024, Calazo took over parts of their range. These maps differ from other Calazo maps both in appearance and content. They will gradually be replaced by new maps that correspond to the other Calazo maps for the area.
