This guide consists of a book and a map that together provide you with all the necessary information to successfully climb Kebnekaise. In addition to descriptions of the various routes to the south peak, many tips are given for day trips around Kebnekaise mountain station. You can also read about different alternative routes to hike between the starting point Nikkaluokta and the mountain station. The included map is printed on water-resistant tyvek and has two sides. One side is very detailed in scale 1:20,000 and shows the terrain closest to the mountain station itself. The other side of the map is on a scale of 1:50,000 and gives a larger overview, and the texts in the book are written by the author and photographer Fredrik Neregard. He has written several popular guidebooks about hiking in the mountains. With simple QR codes, the maps are also available on the mobile phone, but this requires a connection that is not guaranteed in the entire area around Kebnekaise.
