Halle Saale Petersmountain Geiseltalsee Merseburg

If you want to explore the region around the old cathedral and university town of Halle an der Saale by bike or on foot, this card is a valuable companion. Cycling and hiking trails are marked in the map section, which lead through the Lower Saale Valley Nature Park, along the banks of the Saale or around the large lakes south of Halle and Merseburg. Tourist destinations are described in more detail on the back of the map. These include the Handel House in Halle, the State Museum with the famous Nebra Sky Disk and the Beatles Museum. In Merseburg, a visit to the cathedral is definitely worthwhile. An inset map also provides an overview of the S??en See in the Lower Saale Valley Nature Park.
