This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the northern half of the Frankenjura rock climbing area between the cities of Bamberg and Bayreuth. 17 major climbing areas are covered, detailing 479 crags and over 6,750 routes.

The following major climbing areas are included; Tiefenellern, Frankendorf, Leinleitertal, Wiesenttal, G??weinstein, P?ttlachtal, Weihersbachtal, Klumpertal, Mariental, Ailsbachtal, Aufse?tal, Kr?gelstein, Paradiestal, W?rgau, St?big, Wattendorf, Ziegenfelder Tal, B?rental, and Zillertal.

For each crag there is a detailed location map, detailed access information and GPS co-ordinates. All the routes are shown on detailed topos. At the start of the guidebook is a comprehensive crag summary, showing the number of routes at each grade along with the approach time.

Published in April 2023 (revised 4th edition) by Gebro Verlag, this guidebook is written in German and English text throughout, and includes many excellent action photographs. This is the 4th edition of this guidebook that has totally been revised and includes over 300 new routes than the previous edition.
