With restrictions on travel easing, the world's leading alpinist were able to return to the high mountains with renewed enthusiasm. This year's Alpine Journal reports on several of the highlights, including first ascents on Tengkangpoche and Jugal Spire in Nepal: inspiring new routes by British teams climbed in the best style.
