Parque Nacional de Picos de Europa

Picos de Europa at 1:40,000 on a set of two maps from Editorial Alpina printed on light, waterproof and tear-resistant synthetic paper. The maps have contours at 20m intervals enhanced by altitude colouring and relief shading, and provide plenty of names of topographic features. The maps show local country tracks and paths, indicating poorly defined sections. An overprint highlights the waymarked GR (long-distance) and shorter PR routes. Symbols indicate different types of accommodation (hotels, campsites, youth hostels, refuges, etc.), climbing sites, viewpoints, etc. Road network shows locations of petrol stations, car parks, etc. The maps have a 1-km UTM grid. Map legend includes English.

Each map or the sets' protective cover also provide a list of potholing caves with length and depths, plus contact details for accommodation facilities.
