Alpine Club Christmas Cards

The 2007 card has an image of the picture ‘Aiguille Verte and Aiguille du Dru’ by George Barnard 1807-1890 with the message 'With best wishes for Christmas and the new year’

The picture is taken from the Alpine Club’s collection of paintings. George Barnard was one of the earliest members of the Alpine Club to travel and paint widely in the Alps. In his career as a teacher he was the Drawing Master at Rugby School for some 40 years.

The cards are sold in packs of 10 cards with envelopes - cellophane wrapped.
