Author's Biography
Elisabeth Booz grew up in England and Europe and received her Master's degree in Political Economy from the University of Geneva. She currently works for the National Geographic Book Division as a writer, researcher and editor. Widely traveled, recent trips have taken her to Poland, the Orkney Islands, Iceland and China. She divides the remainder of her time between France and the USA. Her other books include the Odyssey Illustrated Guide to Tibet.
Reviser's Biography
Andrew Hempstead is an Australian who has traveled extensively through Australia, the South Pacific, the United States, Canada, Europe and India. He is the author of three books on western Canada and has co-authored a book on Australia (Moon Publications). Andrew has been to New Zealand several times on writing and photographic assignments, and researching this edition marked Andrew's fifth trip across the Tasman. He divides his time between Australia and Canada, spending as much time as possible in his favorite corner of the world, Alaska.
