Hiking is the best way to get to know the landscapes on Paxoi. The scale of the landscape and the details that comprise it demand a tranquil approach. Most paths are on modest inclines, are clearly marked out among the dry wall masonry and some of them are stonepaved. Wandering among the olive groves with lofty trees, one can find intricate pilasters of some olden gateway, see abandoned olive presses and proud windmills and enjoy the sunset from the edge of limestone cliffs.
